Creative Lagos is a Lagos State Creative Industry Initiative (LACI) of Del-York Creative Academy powered by the Lagos State Government through the office of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture.

Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) is responsible for registering all residents in Lagos State or intends to remain in the state for 3 months, irrespective of the age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or nationality. On completion of the registration process, a LASRRA Card is issued as proof of registration.

Creative Lagos is open to only residents of Lagos State. As long as you are eligible to own a LASRRA number, you are eligible to enter into the Creative Lagos program. Your possession of the LASRRA card is proof that you are eligible.

Yes, two certificates are awarded - Certificate of participation upon completing the mandatory class requirements in attendance and assessments, and a Diploma Certificate granted only to participants who complete all requirements, including projects.

This is a screening requirement during the registration process to enable us to ascertain the impact of Lagos State on your general view to enterprise, creativity, and prospects for the future. Participants are required to detail in text/video a short story on how Lagos has influenced opportunities for lifestyle, art, creativity, enterprise, etc., or how they intend to go about creating a unique story for themselves through the opportunities that Lagos State presents.

A student is allowed to complete all classes within a specified time frame, after which he or she will not be allowed to take the class again. After the program, students who do not meet the required mandatory class attendance will not receive a certificate of participation, and hence a Diploma Certificate.
